Started in 2001, and built adjacent to Elite Autobody at 410 Bernie street Kyasand. The workshop was run by the founder member, Wayne Masters, and his mechanical staff. Wayne studied Mechanical Engineering at Natal Technicon, worked in the Hydraulic field for Hytec Hydraulics for 3 years to complete his practical training, but always had a passion for race cars and engines.

Wayne’s racing experience since 1993, his passion for the sport filtered into the workshop, where he started to prepare competitors to race cars. This developed into a full-service package where the client would book their race car in for a full nut and bolt check, then wheel alignment setup.

Since then, the Performance Masters workshop has developed into a full array of services, servicing of vehicles, engine refurbishments, gearbox & diffs been replace or refurbished.
